The three children (named above) came from Ireland on a boat to some place in Georgia. They were sent by their family to the United States to save them from harm because of the civil unrest that was taking place in that country. I don't know who their parents or other family members were. I don't even know if they had any other brothers or sisters that were left behind in Ireland. There were two boys and one girl. One of the boys, Louis Bell, never married and died leaving no descendents. All of the Bell family name, that we know we are related to, descended from the other brother. His name was Joe Kirkland Bell. The girl's name was Lucretia Bell. She married Joe Proveaux and had children. The Bell family surnames listed here are descendants of Joe K. Bell. There is only one listing for Lucretia Bell, that is listed as the Proveaux family.

This is not a complete listing of the family. There is nothing known of the family prior to Louis, Lucretia, and Joe Bell. There is a lot of information missing on the descendents of the family.
