Political Correctness (PC) is the communal tyranny that erupted in the 1980s. It was a spontaneous declaration that particular ideas, expressions and behavior, which were then legal, should be forbidden by law, and people who transgressed should be punished. It started with a few voices but grew in popularity until it became unwritten and written law within the community. With those who were publicly declared as being not politically correct becoming the object of persecution by the mob, if not prosecution by the state.

Politically correct is a term originally used ironically by the left to deflate political over-zealousness, now meaning whatever your politics want it to mean, all of it bad.

• According to conservatives, a politically correct cabal of leftists, feminists and homosexuals seized control of U.S. universities in the 1980s and is now forcing its politics on everyone else.
  
• According to progressives, this is classic liberal-bashing.
  
• According to people with no strong political orientation, political correctness means that they have to watch what they say.

Political correctness is characterized by, but not limited to, intolerance, humorlessness, self-righteousness, sloganeering and dogmatism.

Political correctness is a characteristic of Marxist-Leninist - or, more commonly, Stalinist - due to its political and economic structure leading to communism and a dictatorship. It is the beginning of the removal of the foundation of a moral society by clandestine means and to ruin in an underhand way the framework of the community and the country that has been established for generations and the setting up of a totally different social climate. This is not to say anything for the betterment of society and moral values, but rather their decline and destruction.

Political Correctness is merely the resentment of spoiled children directed against their parent's values.

A community declines when the majority of its citizens become selfish, and under this influence it slowly dismantles all the restraints upon self-indulgence established by manners, customs, tradition and law. As each subsequent generation of selfish citizens inherits control of the community, it takes its opportunity to abandon more of the irksome restraints that genius and wisdom had installed. The proponents of this social demolition achieve their irrational purpose by publicly embracing absurdity through slogans while vilifying any who do not support their stance. The purpose of the slogan is to enshrine irrational fears, or fancies, as truth through the use of presumptuous words, so public pronouncement:

• Dissembles the real nature of the claim
• Identifies any dissenters as enemies of the truth
• Acts as an excuse for any crimes committed in its name

Which is an attack upon truth, clear thinking and plain speaking.

By using the excuse of not upsetting anyone, the Politically Correct are demanding that people behave like the fool who would please everyone; that everyone must become such a fool! All must accept the notions of the Politically Correct as truth, or else! This is the same mentality that inspired the Inquisition and forced Galileo to recant; the same mentality that inspired the Nazis and obtained the Holocaust. Once expression gets placed in a straitjacket of official truth, then the madness that occurs in all totalitarian states is obtained. Life, in private and public, becomes a meaningless charade where delusion thrives and terror rules.

One of the main targets of political correctness is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is, in their eyes, the icon of truth and morality. This generation of selfishness and imorality seek to remove anything that reminds them that the lifestyle they are living, their thoughts that are of evil continuously, and their ungodly behavior is immoral. If the PC's get their way there will not be anything to remind them of truth and rightousness or to remind them of what is right and what is wrong. The PC's have removed prayer from our schools, the Ten Commandments out of the public square, Jesus, Mary, and Joseph from the manger scene, and reduced Merry Christmas to Happy Holidays. It will not end there. It will continue, if they have their way, to removing any mention or sight of anything that would slightly point to Jesus Christ. That my friends include you and me if you are a born-again Christian.

It is sad to say, but this idiology of political correctness has crept into the church unawares. We have been ignorant of the devil's devices and allowed this destructive influence to become a part of our thinking. We have listened to the louder voice of acceptance, tolerance and all inclusiveness instead of listening to the still small voice of God and separating ourselves from evil and the ways of the world. We have allowed political correctness to cloud our judgement. We have compromised the truth of God's Word and followed a multitude to do evil.

Let us take unto ourselves the whole armor of God, that we may be able to withstand in this evil day.
